Western Europe does it right. Tax the uber rich and take care of all the people. Call it mixed market or whatever you want. Of course they let in tons of refugees..

Top 1% of income earners are already paying close to 40% of all income taxes. How much more do you think they should pay? And why do you think that it's the role of government to take care of people? I look at government operations like the VA and I want nothing to fucking do with the government taking care of me.
Hondo claimed the above statement by me was a "lie" and an example of my "extreme ignorance."

When asked to support his fucking mouth Hondo the dipshit replied:

Nice rant. So I read it that you were saying there pay close to 40% of their income. Wich isn't true. (Data is prior to tax cut)

Which isn't what I said at all, which is exactly what I fucking predicted the stupid Kunt would do. Btw, it's weird the way how the Coug who's entire purpose appears to be to flyspeck my spelling has nothing to say about Hondo. I guess Hondo's ass tonguing of the Coug pays off.

So tell me Mr. Reading Comprehension. Where they fuck did I say that the top 1% pays close to 40% of their income in taxes? And I never said anything about Social Security or Medicare taxes dumbfuck so why are you bringing them up?

Hey Hondo are you seeing a pattern here? Every time you attempt to let go of the side of the kiddie pool and challenge something I've said you sink like a fucking rock.

Tell me more about my "extreme ignorance" and my "lies" dumbfuck.

Ok Bob. Answer this question. Do you think social security and Medicare should be counted when you look at the taxes you pay to the federal government?

Go fuck yourself Hondo. I'll answer your question after you admit that the only liar here is you, and that my "extreme ignorance" is really just another example of you being a lying dumbfuck who didn't bother to read and respond to what I actually said.

I'm not chasing after your fucking diversion that has nothing to do with anything I said all because you lack the integrity to admit you had your head up your ass.

It's not a diversion. It is clearly dumb to not include SS and Medicare when talking about federal income taxes. When you do, it changes the calculation considerably. But it news source doesn't report that because you buy into the "Rich have suffered enough" narrative.

Seriously Bob, look at the entire picture, not just part of it. Even if it is against the narrative you want to believe.

So it’s “dumb” to not include two things that aren’t income taxes when talking about income taxes.

Btw the “narrative” I want to believe are called facts Hondo. I understand why you’re so mystified by them.

This is seriously the dumbest argument I've had on this website and that's saying a lot coming from Hondo.

Why should I include SS and Medicare when I'm talking about income taxes Hondo? Because you're a fucking moron who thinks they are income taxes?

What happened to your claim that I was lying Hondo? Any argument where you run that ignorant mouth of yours Hondo immediately becomes the dumbest argument on this website.

Aren't you the same dude who bitches about Medicare and SS are used for the general fund?

They are taxes you pay (well most of us here do) and are considered revenue to the government. Give me a valid reason we shouldn't include that in taxes paid to the federal government.

Fuck Hondo I didn't mention Federal excise taxes or Federal gas taxes either. I was specifically talking about income taxes. Why should I bring up other taxes that aren't income taxes just because you're a fucking moron who thinks they are? And what happened to your claim I was lying Hondo you mouthy little Kunt?

I'm the "dude" who correctly exposed you as a fucking moron who claimed Medicare doesn't contribute to our deficit. And I'm now the "dude" who is exposing Mr. Reading Comprehension for the no integrity piece of shit you are Hondo.

Fuck you. I'm not chasing your diversions Kunt. Admit you're a lying sack of shit and that nothing I said was a lie and that the only person here with "extreme ignorance" is you.

Income taxes and excise taxes and fuel taxes and tariffs and pay roll taxes are not the same thing, and I never said shit about any other form of taxation besides income taxes. I also, despite your fucking lie to the contrary, never claimed that the top 1% paid 40% of all their income in taxes. You pulled that claim straight out of your ass because you're fucking stupid and you can't or won't honestly address what other people here actually say.

I didn't pull anything out of my ass. Social security and Medicare are straight income taxes and even reported on form 1040, you even get SS back on your 1040 if you worked two jobs and went over the threshold (ask me how I know). Yes, your news source doesn't include them because including them doesn't fit that narrative.

But it's disingenuous if you don't include them as income taxes.

Keep yelling at the clouds, it'll make you feel better.

Yes it's "disingenuous" to not include payroll taxes when you're talking about income taxes. So when Bush cut income taxes how much was the Social Security and Medicare tax cut Hondo? Since there is no difference between the two according to you, what percentage were they cut?

you even get SS back on your 1040 if you worked two jobs and went over the threshold (ask me how I know).

The telling Hondo gibberish response. You get money back because there is a cap on how much of your income the Social Security tax applies to. Now why would that be Hondo since according to you it's a "straight income tax?" What other income taxes stop after you reach a certain income Hondo?

What was my "news source" dumbfuck? I didn't cite any "news" source. But please continue to shove that head further up your ass Hondo.

    National sales tax? Fuck that.

Well people who pay more into SS do get more benefits. The amount you receive is directly related to the amount you paid in.

For flat tax, that's my point. That Bob is missing because he's not looking at the big picture and purely looking at "income tax". People scream about "top 1% pay 40% of all taxes". Well they also make 20% of the income. And pay only 4% of SS and Medicare. I can't find what that averages to, but when all are combined, they don't pay an amount of taxes that's out of whack for the income they earn. Same with lower incomes, when you factor in SS and Medicare, their tax liability based on income isn't out of whack for the amount of income they earn.

So to recap. When talking about income taxes and who pays what percentage of all income taxes according to Hondo the dumbfuck it's a "lie" if you don't also include payroll taxes and it's also an example of "extreme ignorance" to correctly cite the fact that the top 1% of income earners pay nearly 40% of all income taxes.

I'm not doing the leg work in order to support your lying twat of a mouth Hondo. There is no cap on earned income that is subject to the Medicare tax. So even if you have a million dollar a year salary all of that is subject to the 1.45% pay roll tax and if you're self-employed you pay a 2.9% Medicare tax on all of your earned income. There is also and additional .9% Medicare tax for high income earners making a self employed person earning a Million a year subject to a 3.7% Medicare tax on all earned income. There is little doubt that the top one percent of income earners pay much greater than 4% of all Medicare taxes.

But you're both a liar and dumbfuck so you claim they don't.

Social security taxes are capped at a specific income, I believe $150k, I could be wrong. If you increase the cap then the 1% would pay more, but you can't do that without increasing their distribution at retirement.

My point with National Sales tax, is that everybody pays it. And if the 1% wants to buy a $300,000 Ferrari, they pay a tax on that. If you do that you can decrease the income tax to around 15-20% across the board. Also, cap tax credits to zero. No more getting back more than what you paid in.

Cut off for 2019 is $132,900.

I could favor a national sales tax but only if they eliminated the income tax or went to a strict 15% flat tax that could only by raised by a 2/3s vote. Same with the sales tax rate. Otherwise you get the worst of both worlds.

As it is now, the bottom 50% of income earners pay little if any income taxes. They have zero incentive too keep income tax rates low because they don't pay them. Top 5% of income earners are paying nearly 50% of all the income taxes. And you don't need to be rich in order to find yourself in the top 5% of all income earners.

No you haven't provided numbers that prove I'm wrong. You also forget than many among the wealthy primarily have income through capital gains, which aren't subject to SS and Medicare. Seriously Google it.
