Gotta save future bonuses somehow.
-
didn't read it, but can we buy 51% of the shares in a reverse takeover, delete all the olympic shit, move the HQ into a WeWork in Enumclaw and then sell the rest to ESPN or Fox?

The fact that is slide exists needing to explain what a round of financing means tells you all you need to know about how fucked this conference is.
-
The valuation relies upon assuming they sign DirecTV
-
How fucking ignorant are our Pac12 leaders when they allow this constant bitch slapping by ESPN to go unabated for year after year and do nothing but continue to silently believe in Larry fucking Scott?GrundleStiltzkin said:
If they can’t tell that ESPN is actually playing a drinking game by intentionally going out of their way to find ways to shoot spit balls at the Pac12 then they are just plain fucking stupid. -
This takes pathetic to an entirely new level. Do you think the ACC would take us?

And getting distribution starting in 2020 which is one year away. Something tells me ATT might be the investor, they’re all about content right now. Otherwise that assumption is fucktarded for the valuation by the investor even by Larry standards.GrundleStiltzkin said:The valuation relies upon assuming they sign DirecTV

YoutubeTV, google money, streaming TV service trying to grab market share, outsiders in the Cable/satellite game, online infrastructure/technology in place, San Francisco, accessible in China.LoneStarDawg said:

Stock shares are at an all time high!
-
Well it’s a perfect investor for Larry if they accept a 5B valuation based on a directTV deal taking effect in 12 months. My wildly speculative guess is ATT.Houhusky said:

It's going to be special when USC goes independent in a couple years.
-
Maybe these new equity holders will get voting rights and can oust Larry’s ass.
-
The conference needs to fire Larry Scott. Now. This is so fucking out of touch. Fucking elitist idiot pieces of shit.

This wasn't Leisure Suit Larry's idea nor is he the lead on it. It is a way to restore the health and welfare of the conference while lowering to cost of excusing Larry from the premises.
It has been in the works for several months. This thing is closer to happening than being just an idea to throw around. -
I smell Cuogatron

This is a positive development. Larry’s days are numbered

If so, no. Don't know who that is.
Yes, Larry is in a shitload of trouble with the powers that determine his employment.
Yes, I do know facts. What I poasted and toasted is not speculation.
Now, go blow a goat! -
How would this be the solution? If the presidents don't like him (no real evidence of this btw) why not just fire him?Blu82 said:

I thought the SEC already owned the Pac-12.

The good news is, Pac-12 basketball is breaking records.
