    Some more gems:

Many people on this board can’t seem to separate Helton from Petersen. Petersen gets better with every Helton loss apparently.

In reality, Petersen is a mediocre coach who is almost incapable of winning a nationally relevant game that doesn’t involve his team ambushing some blue blood who is severely depressed to be matched up against him. He occasionally beats teams from one of the worst conferences in college football who have punched themselves out after playing well above themselves.

Part of the mouth breathers obsession with him is that he fits perfectly into the narrative that ESPN is pushing. That the Pac 12 is the guttie little brother of the big boys of college football. And he is an elite coach, and not mediocre. At their core these people really do listen to ESPN and follow them in lockstep. Then they have the audacity to claim they are free thinkers.

You’re talking about the pac-12 champions, right? Ok.

Watch what happens up there. They are growing and building a bully. With a competent quarterback, they’ll improve. Not all programs have a 5* and two 4*’s in the roster. Coach Pete has won everywhere he’s been. This should not be a surprise and this is totally predictable. He would have killed it here. We have a bunch of idiot administrators and a handful of idiot fans who support their every move.

If only we rooted harder. Oh the humanity!

Peterson went to UW because of the culture and life style that best fits him.

He rarely WINS BIG games and is NOT ELITE. SEC would eat him up.

But he is consistent rarely loses to any team he should not and drama free with a solid coaching process.

    Brandon Huffman:

Still trying to confirm it but hearing there is a VERY good chance USC flipped another Pac-12 commit.

    Stay tuned.

As of now Johan T. still not showing as signed in the 247 database...supposedly was going to do so an hour ago...

Quote from the 247 ducks board:

"Why haven't we heard from Jonah yet? Getting worried. . . "

Oregon board full panic about Jonah T.

Any insiders got anything on this? Ducks insiders are stumped why he hasn't signed. Supposed to be in over an hour ago.

I, for one, think usc is doing an excellent job. Pulling Drake Jackson out of the grasps of ASU is not nothing.

Losing to schools like miami of ohio, and Wisconsin happens all the time to schools like Iowa and bowling Green. All respectable programs with fine educations.

It's been said but I'm all team #extendhelton

Yeah Roland ended up signing with arizona.
Very weird considering he tweeted this last night

There's no shame in losing a QB to the National Champs

Obviously he'd do great there, but he's going to be starting with a significant disadvantage to Pete in both talent and development. It would take him at least 2 and possibly three recruiting classes to get caught up and who knows what level UW will be at by then thanks to the monster 2020 and 2021 classes.

A great coach at USC is always going to be an issue. I'm not convinced Urban has the drive or want to to take on the rebuilding job that USC has become. But if he does it won't happen overnight. And UW isn't going anywhere.

His MO is to come in and win. Now, Illini legend head coach Ron Zook was actually a decent recruiter unlike Helton but Urban won the NT his first year there

Was unbeaten his first year at Ohio State on probation

He would have USC winning the south at least year one and then start stacking classes before he strokes out again
