Meanwhile at USC...

How the fuck are they fucking this up so bad? Maybe kids are finally seeing Clay Helton is a sweaty turd.
Recruiting to USC is one of the easiest jobs in the country. The head coach could drive a half hour for an in home visit, take a dump in the toilet without flushing, pull down his pants and t-bag mom while dad and son watch, and leave with a guarantee of signing. -

Enjoy!!!!
I hate it. Absolutely hate it. February Signing Day was literally a holiday to me (and many others I'm sure)... And of course the powers that be have to go and dilute it with an "Early Signing Day"... Does anyone give a crap anymore? Not just because we suck, Clay sucks, and the class sucks... Doesn't it feel different and unimportant now?
Oh, and they should just call it "Signing Day" because that's what it really is.. And February is the "Late Signing Day”
Literally EVERYONE Knows this by now. Look at how all the the schools recruited like crazy for the early signing period. Bama, Georgia, Clemson, Oregon, basically everyone almost has their class full by now. The schools adapted, wish I could say the same about ClueLess Clay and Staff. They downplayed a lot of kids and thought they could catch up with a month before the signing period, It bit them in the arse. His coaching and their record did them no favors either. Now they're in panic mode offering a bunch of 3*'s.
I have no problem with it at all. The boneheaded staff should've learned from last year but they took an even lazier approach this year
I couldn't agree with you more....every season I really looked forward to the February signing of LOI's and the various media covering it all day long.... Between this early signing period and the demise of our football program to the point of irrelevance I am completely turned off

Lane Kiffin in home visit, artists re-enactment. Censored, but ya get the point. -
Early signing day tomorrow and looks like an average to above average clas and I really don’t care. I don’t care because it really doesn’t matter, SC gave up on football in 2019 when they let Clay stay and there is no way to get excited for a program who accepts mediocrity. Our average to below average team has no hope for success when the architects of that disaster still are allowed to run the team. SC football is dead until someone decides enough is enough and apparently those who decide want more of the same. Sad times in Trojan land. I am not renewing my season tickets and I suggest others do the same because this type of program should not be supported. My big hope is urban gets healthy and we hire him next year. yeah I know long shot SC would more likely hire Ken norton jr. Because he was there with PC then Urban who ignored the bad marriage of his assistant coach. Winning no longer important at SC and that’s tough to get used to. the thought of seeing Clay fumble around the sideline next year, as we draw stupid penalities and give up big plays on D is too depressing to think about so I would rather hope that Urban saves us. I”m that desperate.

That's the most shocking thing. They were caught with their pants down last year, but Clay is dumb so whatever; you can expect that the first year. To make the same mistakes again is dumbfounding.DoogCourics said:

Brandon Huffman:
Still trying to confirm it but hearing there is a VERY good chance USC flipped another Pac-12 commit.
Stay tuned. -
Some more gems:
Many people on this board can’t seem to separate Helton from Petersen. Petersen gets better with every Helton loss apparently.
In reality, Petersen is a mediocre coach who is almost incapable of winning a nationally relevant game that doesn’t involve his team ambushing some blue blood who is severely depressed to be matched up against him. He occasionally beats teams from one of the worst conferences in college football who have punched themselves out after playing well above themselves.
Part of the mouth breathers obsession with him is that he fits perfectly into the narrative that ESPN is pushing. That the Pac 12 is the guttie little brother of the big boys of college football. And he is an elite coach, and not mediocre. At their core these people really do listen to ESPN and follow them in lockstep. Then they have the audacity to claim they are free thinkers.
You’re talking about the pac-12 champions, right? Ok.
Watch what happens up there. They are growing and building a bully. With a competent quarterback, they’ll improve. Not all programs have a 5* and two 4*’s in the roster. Coach Pete has won everywhere he’s been. This should not be a surprise and this is totally predictable. He would have killed it here. We have a bunch of idiot administrators and a handful of idiot fans who support their every move.
If only we rooted harder. Oh the humanity!
Peterson went to UW because of the culture and life style that best fits him.
He rarely WINS BIG games and is NOT ELITE. SEC would eat him up.
But he is consistent rarely loses to any team he should not and drama free with a solid coaching process. -
I, for one, think usc is doing an excellent job. Pulling Drake Jackson out of the grasps of ASU is not nothing.
Losing to schools like miami of ohio, and Wisconsin happens all the time to schools like Iowa and bowling Green. All respectable programs with fine educations.
It's been said but I'm all team #extendhelton -

As of now Johan T. still not showing as signed in the 247 database...supposedly was going to do so an hour ago...
Quote from the 247 ducks board:
"Why haven't we heard from Jonah yet? Getting worried. . . "
Oregon board full panic about Jonah T.
Any insiders got anything on this? Ducks insiders are stumped why he hasn't signed. Supposed to be in over an hour ago.

Johah T signed with Oregon...its official. Jonah T watch is now over.
Only Oregon, Washington and Stanford are doing better than us so far.
We should win the South in 2 years! Although ASU is doing very well.
10 SEC teams are better. Well, at least the media won't be telling us how we are uber talented and should never lose.
I remember beating John Elway. They said he was talented. -

Their first and only DT in the class.

There's no shame in losing a QB to the National Champs

they already signed a 3* QB and nobody but Georgia signs that many.Neighbor2972 said:There's no shame in losing a QB to the National Champs

Once upon a time you dressed so fine
You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you?
People'd call, say "Beware doll, you're bound to fall"
You thought they were all kiddin' you
You used to laugh about
Everybody that was hangin' out
Now you don't walk so proud
Now you don't talk so loud
About having to be scrounging for your next D-Tackle
How does it feel? -
Hahaahhaa. Keep laughing doogs, quooks,
and utes. Wait till urban gets there, then we all fucked. Urban going to own the pac-12 like carrol did -

Come on dnc, if urban ends up at usc. Everyone in the pac-12 will be clenching their assholes, fuck even bama fans willHillsboroDuck said:

Obviously he'd do great there, but he's going to be starting with a significant disadvantage to Pete in both talent and development. It would take him at least 2 and possibly three recruiting classes to get caught up and who knows what level UW will be at by then thanks to the monster 2020 and 2021 classes.WeakarmCobra said:

A great coach at USC is always going to be an issue. I'm not convinced Urban has the drive or want to to take on the rebuilding job that USC has become. But if he does it won't happen overnight. And UW isn't going anywhere. -
His MO is to come in and win. Now, Illini legend head coach Ron Zook was actually a decent recruiter unlike Helton but Urban won the NT his first year thereHillsboroDuck said:

Was unbeaten his first year at Ohio State on probation
He would have USC winning the south at least year one and then start stacking classes before he strokes out again -
If urban goes there he doesn't need more time. First year results...
Bowling green 8-3
Utah 10-2
Florida 9-3
Tosu 12-0
There would be enough talent at usc to win 10 games right away in a shit conference like the PAC 12.
