They have no fucking clue. Like in many ways they are clearly a better team than us but if the team feels the way their fans do we are going to wipe the floor with them. They think they are a league above us but that is patently wrong. If they overlook us they are done for. We aren't good enough to deserve a chance to upset bama and neither are they.

This could go one of two ways. Either the Buckeyes rally with everything that's going on and play lights out or they fold like a deck of cards. What I have seen in my glorious 43 years of existence and also working with college students. They almost always fold in the face of adversity. Very rarely do you get the "win it for the Gipper games" they feel they got fucked by the playoff committee so they even want to play the Huskies on the 1st?Mad_Son said:They have no fucking clue. First, Pete doesn't lose by huge margins. I'm using the last 3 years as they're the most relevant to this year's team in terms of current roster and scheme as well as Pete's culture and methods firmly implemented:
2018 - Auburn by 5, Oregon by 3, Cal by 2
2017 - ASU by 6, Stanford by 8, Pedo by 7
2016 - USC by 13, Bama by 17
Over 3 years, in 40 games played, only 2 games lost by double digits and 6 lost by a single score.
Second, Pete doesn't give up huge scores. Again, using the last 3 years as reference:
2018 - Oregon 30
2017 - Stanford 30, Utah 30, Pedo 35
2016 - No one scored 30
Over 3 years, in 40 games played, only 4 teams have scored at least 30 points.
UW has not given up 40 points in their last 57 games, which is tops in all of College football. It's just not the DNA of Chris Petersen to get blown out. He may lose, but it's going to be a fight.
This is just an example of an uneducated fan of a team that is an elite national brand and is one of the few true blue bloods who only knows what ESPN tells him, which is basically zero coverage. He's feeling cocksure and headstrong because he hasn't seen UW play and his team is really fucking good.
He doesn't know what he's talking about, but would you really expect anything different? -
Have you guys seen Purdue's offensive scheme? Got me doogin.
-
You guys should work on scoring a td
-
Jesus tittay friggin’ Christos mang. What a fucking retard. A 6-6 Gilby team didn’t even give up 30 to tOSU in their house.
-
Clearly you haven't watched any Washington football this year.

Come say it to our faces!!!

Cobra will pull a rabbit followed by double birds to tOSU; finally, double birds to HH -
This had me optimistic, then I remembered who our qb was. We are lucky to score 20.Mad_Son said:They have no fucking clue. Purdue gashed them on the ground. It can be done. Not saying we will... I suspect osu will date us to throw but if they try to defend the pass we have a chance.AtomicDawg said:

I love that they forget they lost to Clemson 31-0 in the 2016 semifinal. Somehow we were more embarrassed than they were?

Fuck them

It’s shit like this that might make this game winnable. On paper, tOSU is a terrible matchup for UW. But they’re also prone to underperforming.
It would require a lot to go right. Like playoff disappointment. Coaching distraction. Arrogance. Under-preparation. But this team was able to trade punches with PSU, Auburn, and Bammer. -

1. Jack "Cobra" Browning - the best white player on the field, enough said on that. With four years of high school and over three years of college under his belt, he will do everything possible to win the game.
Where have I heard this before? Oh yeah, when I was at Huskie Stadium in 2007 and all the UW fans were telling our tailgate group that OSU had never seen a QB like Jake Locker. Result: 33-14, Bucks, which was the fewest points you scored that season.

2. Offensive Line. We average a weight of 332 across the line, and they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. MacGeary, Tray Adams, Center, Ossai, Harris. These boys have an attitude and are ready to rumble!!!
And they will be facing one of the toughest defensive lines in the entire country. In fact, before the Bosa injury, the line was considered by many as the best in the country, even better than Clemson's and Alabama's.

3. Lake. A new defensive scheme and a new attitude. Everyone is speaking out about the difference between our game plan on defense vs Utah and our game planning since then. You will see a much improved defense on 1/1/19.
I guess you missed our game against Michigan, in which we scored 55 offensive points and 567 yards of offense against the #1 defense in the entire country. We then followed that with 45 offensive points and 607 yards of offense in our conference title game. We have the #2 total offense and #2 passing offense in the country.

4. Speed, speed, speed. this is the fastest team Washington has had this century, maybe since 1991! John Ross XIV, Charlie McClutchins, Jake Kaho, Savell Ahmed, Myles Gaskin, Louis Rankin. The newbies will be inexperienced but we bring a new dimension that the program has not had in years, speed.
Ohio State has been one of the fastest teams in the entire country since Meyer's recruiting classes starting filling the roster. It's the only B1G team (or any team outside of off the SEC) that matches, if not exceeds, the fastest SEC teams.

5. Time of possession. I think we can win the time of possession battle in this one. the more we can control the ball and keep our defense off the field, the greater chance we’ll have to win.
I can point to many games where a team has won by four touchdowns while losing the TOP battle.

I think UW wins this one rather easily, say… 34-17???
Washington winning the game would not be a huge surprise. Claiming to hold Ohio State to 17 points is laughable. -
I like how the troll is busted with several examples but the hard-ons are still falling all over themselves to argue the pointsUWhuskytskeet said:

The one thing I'm getting out of this whole thread that I just can't believe
We played Ohio State in Husky Stadium in 2007? I do not remember that game at all -
We had just beat #22 Boise State 24-10 with Freshman phenom Jake Locker to go 2-0 on the season and hand Chris Petersen his first ever collegiate head coaching loss. People were riding high.HuskyJW said:The one thing I'm getting out of this whole thread that I just can't believe

That’s right, Chris Petersen lost to Tyrone Willingham. -
