Almost every coach in the modern era at UW has been able to recruit top 25 classes.
Gilby's one class (2004) was 22nd and 19th in terms of average stars.
Ty's classes in terms of avg stars were ranked the following:
2005- 40
2006- 30
2007- 29
2008- 21
Sark
2009- free pub!
2010- 23
2011- 28
2012- 29
2013- 19
Take out the first year of the new coach and as long as he breathes, he's assured of bringing in a top 30 class every year.
Even with the last 4 years of only 1 top 20 class, UW will finish this season in top 15 of metrics and probably again next year. If Petersen can consistently bring in classes that are ranked around 20th then UW will be a top 10 program under his regime. -
