Every Big10 school has a shit load of their Grads living in Southern California. It's the first place they all go as soon as they get any kind of money. For most of them it's the only time of year they can watch their team live without shelling out a ton of money to fly back home to loserville, USA.

I haven't paid attention to attendance at anyone but UW's RB games but there is always more purple in Pasadena than B10 champ colors. I'd be very surprised if this is actually true.
