I loved Dana Carvey’s Bush Sr. sketches on SNL. Especially during the first Gulf War.

Not Gon do it. Wouldn't be prudent.

I always thought it was appropriate that the head of the CIA was elected when the head of the KGB was the premier for the Russkies. evened things out.

and I thought he was OK which is odd as I instantly dislike anyone who gets elected

92 is the moment the wheels came off and our country became ever more polarized. The right viewed bubba as an illegitimate Pres and in a lot of ways he was unfit for the office. The the left considered Bush 43 an election stealer.

I don't know that I'd say that. The right certainly used the tax increases as fodder. And they stated investigating Clinton in January 1994. But in the late 90s they actually worked together on a political level.

I personally think this was the moment that politics became unworkable. (2010)

“The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”

Then from there, Twitter and 24 hour news doesn't allow for any compromise on either side. Yes I'm talking Democrats being pieces of shit too.

CSB Tim. So back in 84 I was in DC with Uncle Snow who had a close fren on the secret service. Back in them days security was looser because the A-Rabs were just high jacking planes instead of crashing them into buildings. So I got to take the private secret service tour of the WH in old executive office building. They took us in Veep Bush’s office and I got to sit at his desk and play with the pens and what not.

    Cool story bro'.

Did you see anyone on the tour?

Didn’t meet the Gipper. Sad. Might have passed Jim Baker in the hall or something.

Mrs Lebam's brother was head guy for investigating and approving WH visitors. I will have to get the years he was there. Then he was head security guy at Justice, lots of cool stories about running senators and other VIPs out of reserved parking. Remember him saying Holder was an asshole.

    Anyway cool story
