Well it's great that you say it but statistical facts say he was correct to go for it. Those two calls were the most impressive thing he did. Would have been easy to take the old school coward coach approach and kick a fg but he made the right call.AtomicDawg said:Going for it twice in the first quarter was stupid. Softy said on the post game show that a member of Tui's family told him CP had offered the te position. Softy subsequently mentioned that Tui was going to chose between UW te and USC qb.
Does anyone know if CP actually did offer the te coach position, or if that was just made up? -

I preferred to take the points because I thought it was going to be a close low scoring game. But the stats do say you should almost always go for it and Teq's point is insightful. -
