Tui...

That fucktard Softy claims it is the QB job at USC which makes no sense Snark is supposedly retaining Clay Helton who was the OC/QB coach. Unless Helton gets a demotion or some shit. IDK. I tend to believe coachingsearch.com over the likes of Kim and Softy.
What is the word on Aurora?

Per Adam Jude.. Tui to USC as TE coach

We didn't want him anyways.MrsMora said:Per Adam Jude.. Tui to USC as TE coach

Tui choosing Sark over Petersen seems like career suicide.
just me, tho. -
I don't disagree, however, we are assuming Peterman gave him an option.BlowItUp said:Tui choosing Sark over Petersen seems like career suicide.

Thought it had been reported that Pete offered him the TE job. Reports could be wrong, or USC's offer could have been better.topdawgnc said:

I'm kinda disappointed that Tui would rather work for Sark at USC... but perhaps there is more detail to the offers that made the USC gig better for his career... if he is gonna coach in LA, I'd rather see him working for Mora. -
Jude is reporting he was offered the TE job here.

Who gives a shit? It's the tight end coach. I love Tui and was glad to see him get the bowl game win but he's a nobody in the coaching world.GrundleStiltzkin said: -

Second, I guess I should clarify: it would slightly concern me only if Tui was offered something equal or better at UW.
I really don't care about Tui as a mascot. Just as a canary.

If you're Tui, and you have the chance to coach QBs at USC or TEs at Washington, if you choose the latter, you are an extreme fucktard.
-
And he'll be coaching tight ends (Hi Jerry!!), so your poont is moot. I'm not unhappy to see him leave, turn the fucking page.TheHB said:If you're Tui, and you have the chance to coach QBs at USC or TEs at Washington, if you choose the latter, you are an extreme fucktard.

work on those reading skills.
They come in handy on message boards -
There's job "offers", and there are job offers.DeepPurple said:

This is the kind of thing that can mess your team up. Wanting a guy back because he has history in the program. You need coaches who are all on the same page. Tui is one of my favorite Husky players ever and it was cool to see him win the bowl game but college football is a business like anything else.
-
Likewise. But if Tui was told to shove off for a while, I've got no problem with that.CuntWaffle said:This is the kind of thing that can mess your team up. my take is that Sark is probably way overpaying as usual for his staff so I'm
sure Tui got a great offer from USC. Second, Coach P probably gave him a mediocre offer and I agree with it because he should have zero of the previous staff working for him. Last thing he needs is some punk who doesn't like discipline to start a locker room division just because he's pissed. -
Two thoughts here. One, if reports of CP's offer are correct, staying at UW would have required Marques to accept a demotion. Two, assistant coaches have extremely short shelf lives, and Marques is upwardly mobile. By the time Sark is forced out at Troy, Marques will probably already be a OC somewhere. Maybe even a HC.BlowItUp said:Tui choosing Sark over Petersen seems like career suicide.

Best of luck to Tui. But now he can go and fuck right off. Did anyone here really think he had the chops
to be a great coach? (I had a nostalgia boner for him I'll admit).
Let's get the best coaching staff we can. The best coaches we have had did not play here and on that respect Tui is just some dude part of a pretty shitty staff on a middling team. -
Keep tui nothing else matters.
-
Not saying that there's any guarantee that he'll be a good coach, but I did notice that we played so-so on offense, gave up a lot of yards on defense ... yet we converted our opportunities into TDs and held BYU to FGs and turned the kicking game into a massive advantage for us (I'll take a Patron shot to the memory of Johnny Nansen's fucktarded Special Teams) ... kind of like how we've won games in the past when we've been good. Have to give Tui at least some credit for that.
-
Going for it twice in the first quarter was stupid. I say always play to go up by two scores or three scores before going for it in those situations.
-
If it is true that coach Pete offered Tui a TE job, then coach Pete must have felt he would have been a good coach for that role at the UW... and Sark got him instead. No other way to spin this really.
-
If taking Tui means we have only three coaches for the D, I would vote for a fourth D coach. At the moment, our DC appears also to be our DL coach. We need one more coach on D.

Kim's latest "What I'm Hearing" was that Tui was going to USC as the QB Coach. This cued many "What is Petersen thinking?" and "So far I don't like this guy's decisions" posts. Of course Kim was wrong the whole time, as usual but it did stir the anti-Petersen, Pro-Sark pot a little. Mission Accomplished.
