I was at the game, and I hate this team.
Then they totally crap the bed in the second half, inexplicably raising anxiety levels and basically souring the mood of the entire stadium.
Like Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown, this team sucks you in and causes you to believe, only to rip your heart out and leave you wondering why you ever let yourself be duped into believing...once again.

As some people here will be able to attest... when we didn't score after Gaines's INT I lost my mind.

I was at the game. The Stanford O line has more tackles just on Gaines than or D had in the game. Watched a furd linemen hold him from behind while gaines was closing on Costello. Gaines jersey stretched out about 2 feet behind him with a ref right there. No flag. The ref then helped Gaines get his heresy back into place. I hate these Fucking refs!

Gaines’ interception is basically the only highlight of the season for me.
At this point, it’ll probably be the only thing I want to remember. Other than MMFG.
