    What part of the country is North Dakota in?

    Every state that's tried to implement a voter ID law has been accused of suppressing the votes.

    Voter suppression complaints and voter suppression problems aren't quite the same thing. After Georgia passed their voter ID law the number of minority voters actually increased. Black folks aren't as dumb or lazy as you Rats think they are.

    The South was becoming more Republican prior to the passage of the Civil Rights act. You could hardly expect a region of the country that takes patriotism and military service more seriously than the rest of the country to stick with a party of George McGovern.

    That's being said, all most all of the old racist Rats died as Rats, they never switched parties.

    Last I saw voter suppression was the Black Panthers in Philly IIRC.
