The way it works mostly is that players going to FBS need to fit a certain racial profile. I'm not being racist saying this because I am just observing the behavior. What happens in this state is if you are a pretty good player and don't fit the racial profile you wind up somewhere like Central or perhaps Eastern. But, the good thing about a guy like BBK is that it can set an example that if you are a player and don't fit the expectations of race (again, what I observe, not my own judgment) you can still play at the top level.
