I also found Dean Koontz to be much more fun to read than Stephen King in that category.
I like to read biographies, autobiographies, and personal accounts mostly.

I’m sorry, but Catch 22 is a massive piece of shit. The larger theme is ruined by the incessant puns. It basically reads like a Dr Seuss book without the trippy illustrations crossed with some Marx Brothers camp. This is like Dexter for me; everyone else seems to love it, and I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. But that’s just me.
