Saban is a self-absorbed maniac who beilieves his own bullshit, which contrary to popular wisdom, is not hubris.
He likes to watch and hear himself be this 'curmudgeon who's never satisfied' character, and he gets to indulge in this and mostly whatever the fuck he wants because he's a winner. Those are the rules in Western culture.
But he wins because he has fantastic depth of the best players, and he and is staff are outstanding coaches.
The Act is no different than Denny and his coaches drinking habits. It's just what he likes to do. But it has really nothing whatsoever to do with the result on the field.
It's good for fanboy talk though.
