All families fight

That same field ended the Seahawk careers of all three members of the Legion of Boom
-
Also the Seahawks Dynasty and Pete Carroll's willingness to take risks.DerekJohnson said:That same field ended the Seahawk careers of all three members of the Legion of Boom

This story has not lessened my hate of the NFL product.
-
It's just too bad and a shame
-
I hope the Seahawks don’t win another game and I hope Earl Thomas’ Rolls Royce gets a flat tire and I hope the “12s” get a real life and IHOP most of them learn the actual rules of football. I hope Pete retires and I hope Sark takes the headcoaching job and the Seahawks go 7-9 every year.

This made my night.
Earl is a hero. -
I hope Paul Allen moves the team to Oregon and they play in Autzen Stadium.PineapplePirate said:I hope the Seahawks don’t win another game and I hope Earl Thomas’ Rolls Royce gets a flat tire and I hope the “12s” get a real life and IHOP most of them learn the actual rules of football. Maybe I'm an idiot, but I think the current Seahawks regime has really harmed its reputation with players and is going to have a hell of a time attracting free agents for a while.
-
You believe a free agent negotiating with Seattle will refuse to take the Best Offer for himself based what media says about Earl Thomas refusal to honor his contract😉
-
Best offer? Probably not, at least if it's significantly better. But many times players are choosing between comparable offers and looking for best chance to win, culture, fit, etc. PCJS has done pretty well winning those battles for players. That status may be in jeopardy.sarktastic said:You believe a free agent negotiating with Seattle will refuse to take the Best Offer for himself based what media says about Earl Thomas refusal to honor his contract😉
If you always have to be the highest bidder to acquire talent you're probably not going to be assembling a lot of talent in a salary cap league. -
Anyone who tells Pete Carroll to fuck off is cool by me.

Seems the opposite. Seems like they had already decided not to extend, so they effectively lost an all pro for this year or the opportunity to get back sorely needed draft picks. Cap space in the future means shit if you have no one worthy of paying on the current roster.sarktastic said:Sea hawks dodged a bullet

The amount of people (by people I mean 12s) triggered over a stupid middle finger gesture is mind boggling. ET is the Kanye West of the NFL. Great at what he does but part of the reason is because he is a little crazy up in the head. So yea of course he is going to burst with emotion after something he feared the most comes to fruition.
12s gonna 12. -
The dead $16 million in 2018 and 2019 for Sherm and Kam, says hi.Bob_C said:

Where are they playing again? -
When Thomas signed his contract in 2014, it made him the highest paid safety in the NFL. No one held a gun to his head.BleachedAnusDawg said:Maybe I'm an idiot, but I think the current Seahawks regime has really harmed its reputation with players and is going to have a hell of a time attracting free agents for a while.
This year he could have gone the Lavon Bell route and held out. He didn’t. He got hurt. It sucks but it’s a business.
Villifying the Seahawks is stupid. Thomas’s $8.5 million 2018 salary, third among NFL safeties, is a tidy sum.
-
Since drafting Thomas in 2010, the Seahawks have shown him nothing but disrespect. $55 mm worth of disrespect to be exact.
I feel very badly for his family. -
All true. They still should have traded him. Win-win for both sides. I think the front office failed at playing the long game.Baseman said:
