I laugh at the NFL/College coach debate.
A lot of guys who are great in the NFL would fail in college and vice versa.
Completely different challenges.
You don't see 100k fans in an NFL stadium ever. Arguably more pressure in the college game with boosters and alumni fanbase. The grind of recruiting 2022 kids when it's still 2018.
NFL essentially eliminates the Jimmy's/Jos discrepancy in college and requires more X's and Os, so there's that aspect to it.
They all make about the same.
Saban can't leave any wiggle room for Urban to steal GOAT status if he leaves. That's more important to his legacy than getting the dolphins to a conference championship game.
He's going full Thanos. Somebody's gotta step up. -
They are untested this year so far. None of this means much at all.
