UW’s Chris Petersen says ‘people don’t appreciate’ Jake Browning’s toughness

Fuck you, Pete!
Brownsocks may be tough, but he's slow and has a shitty arm. Maybe if he wasn't slow with a shitty arm, he wouldn't have to take so many hits.
Whatever! Fuck this shit. Fuck Pete's excuses for this shitdick QB. -
Browning is tough. He talks shit, has a chip, etc.,etc,...
But he is three layers deep incepted. So mind fucked.
I was his original fan and called his ascendance.
The Cal game 2016 was when I knew we were fucked. The ducks he threw, Jesus. Thank God John Ross and Cal too high.
The pouty gifs are unfair, like everyone doesn't have a micro expression, his teammates like him (though they know Haener is better).
Give me a cumpilation of every missed FG and QB reaction and we'll talk
I hate him, but not as much as Pete for letting him be him -
Browning has a shitty brain too. 4th year senior and he still makes the same mistakes when under pressure.
What's that song say?
If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.
-
He's right. It's hard to appreciate when it keeps his no-talent ass on the field.
-
The same thing that happened to Browning happened to Price. Both were pretty good until they got hit and started to get criticized.
Price had a horrible OL, but his mechanics were fucked even with a clean pocket because of PTSD.
Browning scrambles as soon as he feels pressure. Sometimes he feel a pressure that really isn't there. Both have/had absolutely no feel in the pocket.
Both were tough I guess.
A better coach and defense helps Browning win. He's a 7-6 type of QB tho. -
Price got hit 1,000,000 more times than Browning. His yips were way more understandable.
Also no one would say Jake isn't physically tough. He is. -
Price was decent, and never made even close to the amount of bonehead fucktarded plays that lose games like Browning has
-
Yeah his toughness and rubber Gumby body actually IS the problem. Indestructible imbecile.
-
Browning hurt his shoulder the week before that 2016 Cal game and has never thrown with confidence again. Never had great arm strength, but it was good enough before then.

Keith Price beats USC, ASU, Stanford 2017, Auburn, and maybe Penn State. Period.
-
We? are likely 44 - 0 the past 3+ seasons and have three straight natties with Price in at QB.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Keith Price beats USC, ASU, Stanford 2017, Auburn, and maybe Penn State. Period.

ASU sure. USC and Auburn maybe. The other 2 give me a break. Im not a Browning fan but this shit is ridiculousPostGameOrangeSlices said:Keith Price beats USC, ASU, Stanford 2017, Auburn, and maybe Penn State. Period.

Doctor says patients don't appreciate the resilience and toughness of their MRSA infections

Arm not as good as I remember but running ability much better than I remember. Either way both are much better than Browning.dhdawg said:

Edit:Fuck watching Sark's teams give me more PTSD than I counted on. -
How is Pete hearing or reading what other people think about Browning? I thought it was "all about us" and the outside noise is supposed to be ignored?
-
You would think Price was Baker Mayfield if you were a newcummer to the board.dhdawg said:

Fuck that.
Cody Pickett. Tough.
Tui. Tough.
Billy Joe. Tough as fuck and then some.
Don't run that bullshit, Peterman. Doogs know tough.
Jake ain't tough.

Jake is not mentally TUFF.
Some of you head coaches need to learn the difference! -
I’m tuff too! But I’m a pussy like Brownsocks
-
One of the most frustrating things about Browning is the throws he simply doesn't even try. He won't pull the trigger on certain throws or windows.
This is one of the reasons he struggles so much with pressure. DC's know that there are certain parts of the field or certain looks he won't throw to. Its like they have extra DBs back there so they can bring pressure without any fear -

Everyone appreciates his tuffness insofar as "appreciates" means "acknowledges that it's real." Everyone who doesn't hate Washington hates his tuffness because he won't LEAVE!

And? -
Honestly, I'm as big a critic of Brownsox as anyone, but watching his post-game interview revealed some subtle changes in his attitude and maturity. It may also have revealed that he's been seeing a counselor, or consulting with someone and he's dug into his psyche a bit to better understand why he's doing some of the boneheaded shit he does. While he's still too defensive and relies on some dumb points he thinks are clever, he's also analyzing where from inside of himself those bad decisions are originating. Not sure if everyone else caught it, but that deeper self-reflection, and some friendly advice from Gaskin about how and when to take a sack, means we could see a more conservative Jake that won't be taking as many chances trying to make miracle plays, which keep blowing up in his face. I don't want to see Brownsox fail, but I also don't want to see anymore of this Russell Wilson wannabe shit from him. If he plays within his capabilities he could play well enough to not hurt the team, and that may be all this year's squad needs to run the table.
