We? know our? offense is shit.... but....

I admit that I hate it, and I originally thought it was Babushka. Then I thought it was Hamdan. Now I think it's Pete. But what if it's actually because it's been run by Miley Cyrus and Brownsocks all 5 years so far.
What if next year when Eason takes the reigns, it just becomes a magical display of execution and domination? I mean, it was only 7 throws but the offense was rolling under Haener.
Maybe I've drank too much and am thinking too much about this shit, but I think Browning just really sucks that much.

Jesus fucking Christ. This was a draft that I wrote at 2:47 am yesterday after drinking Angel's Envy all night. I really shouldn't try and figure out the offensive problems when I'm hammered. At this point, Browning sucks and the play calls from Hamdan suck, but it's all Pete's offense so it's clearly his fault.
A lesson for you all, don't drink and poast in the early am. FYFMFE
All that said.... If that shit turns out to be true and next year's offense is a juggernaut, I maintain the right to bump this shit as the first to call it fags.

If Ive learned anything from this bored in the past 2 weeks, it's that legends are made in the 4th quarter vs North Dakota

An offense that your personnel can't run is a shit offense. If it is brilliant wait until you have someone brilliant to implement it and give your below average decision making, noodle armed qb a different offense..
-
I have kind of considered the fact that it's entirely possible that there's just no way to make a good offense with Browning as your qb. Then I think about things like the speed option being run in the red zone vs. an elite front seven and I remember that even if the first part is true that our offensive playcalling is still FS.

The kind of quip that gives you instant chins, but the quality of the competition had nothing to do with the zip on the ball, the touch on the placements, and the enthusiasm to which teammates gravitated towards Bieber.PostGameOrangeSlices said:If Ive learned anything from this bored in the past 2 weeks, it's that legends are made in the 4th quarter vs North Dakota

The most popular player on the team is always the backup QB. Hth -

The players did seem to rally around Browning early in the Utah game. They had a lot more energy.Gladstone said:

That disapated once Browning starting shitting himself. -
The offense pisses me off me. It's way too dependent on perfect timing of play calls/surprising the defense and spot on execution by all 11 guys. It's way too prone to going backwards when everything doesn't click. It doesn't seem to have a diverse enough set of high percentage, positive yardage plays for grinding out long drives...when a clock killing drive is called for we always seem to start out like gangbusters then run out of ideas and resort to more Browning nonsense to keep it alive. Sometimes a good team has to be able to run a play the other team knowsius coming and still gain yards, otherwise it's not a good team.
I do believe that, with the right personnel, it could be a juggernaut. I actually believe that it will be one at UW someday, but it's going to be something that only clicks every few years or once a decade. Perfect personnel doesnt come together every year anywhere, not even at Alabama. If such a thing was a requirement there to win championships then Saban would have half as many of them. Maybe less.
It's frustrating as fuck to see a coach who is doing nearly everything else at a championship level continuing to hamstring himself with a poorly devised offense. -
I don't think that was true with Jeff Lindquist.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Gladstone said:

Nah I’m pretty sure Bush is Sark 2.0. He needs to go.

I would be happy to watch Haener finish out the year. I've seen one too many back pedal pic/sacks to last a lifetime. 3.2 years of Browning has been plenty for me.
More Haener throwing dimes to Jones/fuller, more Ngata, more Gaskin. If it's not good enough then it's not good enough. This conference sucks, Washington should win it. -
Braxton Burmeister is sobbing with joy right now.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Gladstone said:

It's a shame the NCAA doesn't allow Peterman to recruit and play a good quarterback instead.UW_Doog_Bot said:I have kind of considered the fact that it's entirely possible that there's just no way to make a good offense with Browning as your qb. As funny as this is... Haener does throw a better ball than Browning, and it's not even close. They could be playing against air and that would still be obvious.PostGameOrangeSlices said:If Ive learned anything from this bored in the past 2 weeks, it's that legends are made in the 4th quarter vs North Dakota
Doesn't mean we know what Haener would look like against real competition, but we do know what Brownsocks looks like... -
I always knew Hamden would be the new pariah, Didn’t figure it to be by Week 3 though.DeepSeaZ said:Nah I’m pretty sure Bush is Sark 2.0. He needs to go.

That is why this frustrates the alumni and fanbase. He is who we thought he is.NorwegianHusky said:

Time to cut bait, Jake B. -
I’m still irritated Coach Pete didn’t play to win the game more often during his 7-6 first year. Why not try and win a few more games? Why punish the kids who suffered through Sark without letting it rip? I get building a culture, but you still play to win the game. These Browning / Salvon MIA / BBK over Victor / underutilization of Dissly / Straying from the Power Offense / issues bring back this bad memory.

All I have to say is we had enough offense to win the game. If we do that every game I'm good with it!

It would be nice if the defense didnt have to carry the offense against every team besides WSUSledog said:All I have to say is we had enough offense to win the game. If we do that every game I'm good with it!
