I didn't watch the game cause camping and shit. But that's the shit you guys were freaking out about? Every throw to the first read. Half of them were screens. 2 back shoulder throws were nice but I hardly call that a stud performance that you guys were stroking.

The arm strength is shit also.
I think Doogs are circling the wagons because the starter tries to play like a 25% body fat Cam Newton with no talent and a limp arm and the other guy tries and play like a smart white kid with no talent and a limp arm.

Every throw was not to the first read. His dump off to the RB was after seeing his two receivers running deeper routes on that side of the field were covered. He threw the sideline bomb to Ty Jones after seeing his TE was covered. He made quick, correct decisions.
It was hard for me to tell on a YouTube video, so maybe I'm wrong. But I don't think I am.
Can we talk about the back shoulder throw to Cook with 3:20 left? That was as impressive as either throw he had to Jones. Browning almost never throws those and when he does they're picked because the corner gets 8 seconds to turn around and locate the ball. Haener nailed it. His ball placement is surprisingly good on a lot of these throws. I mean, my expectations for our QB could not be lower after watching Browning for so long, but Hæner doesn't look half bad.
Pleasant doesn't look half bad when he can do one cut and go. He's got some juice. His body looks more proportional now. Sometimes he just straight lines it and reminds me of Lavon though (not in a good way). Needs to work on his reads and that one cut to be effective in zone, so he's not just power only like Lavon was.
And yeah. Tryon flashed. Holy fuck. I didn't know he was that fast and smooth.
I was not watching when Tryon got in. I would love Tevis move inside. Let Ngata, Bowman, Potoa'e, and Tryon play outside. Amandre or another bum can rotate in if necessary.

Agreed. Give Tryon significant playing time. Also give that boy Zion playing time at OLB. Just have a nice rotation of Ngata, Bowman, Potoa'e, Tryon and Tupuola - Fetuii.

We will revisit this.
