What happened Game 5 that year???greenblood said:
Come on man...If you're going to come at me with this "They're back!" talk, at least get it right.UW_Doog_Bot said:
I can't find it now but I believe the Wisconsin game was originally supposed to be a home and home earlier, which Wisconsin then pushed back to 2018 and 2021, and then cancelled all together. I remember that Rutgers was actually supposed to be our "B" game originally and that Montana was the last minute add to the schedule. So our schedule should have been the Badgers(A), Rutgers(B), and Fresno State(C).greenblood said:
Normally I’d concede but you realize Wisconsin was scheduled for this year, and they backed out 4 years ago, which doesn’t explain the previous OOC schedules. 4 years gave you time i presume to schedule auburn this year. That’s a little different than 2 years notice, considering most power 5 teams are schedule beyond that.UW_Doog_Bot said:
While I'm not in the habit of defending Ballz Wisconsin backed out of our schedule which would have made for a solid P5 matchup.greenblood said:
Washington scheduled it. Oregon had to scramble after a team backed out, but I wouldn’t expect a dumbfuck like you to know the difference.StrongArmCobra said:
I find it funny that quooks talked shit about UW's soft non-conference schedule the last couple seasons and then don't say a peep when Oregon's non-conference schedule is worse.dOgmaster said:

San Jose State got beat by UC Davis 44-38. They went 2-11 last season.
Bowling Green went 2-10 last season.
Four wins total last season between Oregon's three non-conference opponents.
At least Oregon has a valid reason and didn’t hide from tough opponents.
So I stand by it. Flip gonna Flip
*shrug We used to be a shit tier team scheduling shit tier opponents anyways. Scheduling takes a while to catch up. We are still in a bind to get good teams to schedule us as so many are already tied up far into the future. I'm hoping LA/Vegas gets an invitational that we get invited to in the near future to help alleviate the issue.
I'll enjoy when the ducks are 3-0 this year and all the quooks come out of the woodwork to proclaim "they're back!".

Thanks Race!!!’DJDuck said:TAMU cancellation of their game with us not withstanding, Bowling Green Has a tougher OOC schedule than the Ducks do, they play:
-UofO
-Maryland
-Georgia Tech
@greenblood Any chance you could organize an off board seminar to at least help dial in these new refugee Quooks about Football or Life or how to wipe their ass???
TIA. -

That's the joke. But in all seriousness I (not Race) was there. If I remember right, it was a 55-16 colonoscopy performed by Wazzu.salemcoog said:

I've never seen a team play so well one week and so poorly the next week ever. That was the reality of Andy Ludwig and any OC that lives by the script. When it doesn't go they way they thought it gets away from them in a hurry.greenblood said:

It was. And I was there too!!! Great tailgate. Got fed by our neighbors as the Food cooler got left in the Garage. No fresh bowls until the rig is packed is the lesson here. Walked in just in time to get in a parade of Cougs led by an older gentleman playing our? Fight song with a Trumpet. Goosebumps, right!!!greenblood said:

We then Settled in and I watched 25 years of bad breaks and bounces of WSU football virtually settled in the first half of the game. Craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Never to be recreated in my lifetime. -
The offense sucked all year. Ludwig's system was too basic, and we had split quarterbacks (which means we had no quarterback). The defense saved us against michigan, as the Ducks held their heisman candidate running back to something like 10 yards rushing (basically ending his heisman run). Also, if I remember right Michigan wasn't great through the air, and we had a decent run defense. Our? secondary was absolutely brutal, and teams with good quarterbacks destroyed us.Mosster47 said:

John Navarre and Braylon Edwards were pretty effective. That was the last Michigan team to beat the Buckeyes minus the Adam Sandler year which doesn't count.greenblood said:
