The "we are only going to offer limited scholarships because we want our scholarships to mean something" may back fire on an epic level. With limited offers, if UW loses it out on more recruits than expected, they are going to be put in an awkward position of having to play catch-up with newly added prospects. This was the same stupid idea tried by the Helfrich staff. Some may call it selective, I call it lazy and over confident borderline arrogant.

It's actually the opposite of lazy. UW puts in all the extra work looking into a kids background, finding out who he is as a person, how hard he works, what his teachers says about him, what other recruits or current players who know him say about him, etc. Those evaluations before offering take more time and effort and even after offering a kid they are still constantly evaluating him to see how hard he's working, whether or not he's getting better, whether or not he's become complacent, how he performs against better talent at camps, etc.

What's actually lazy is just throwing out offers to a million kids based on star rating hype and their highlight tapes and then seeing who's interested from there.

Petersen's way of recruiting seems to be working both with on the field production and current recruiting. UW is headed in the right direction and continuing to ascend.

Not you too. You guys can't help but to quook now that your team sucks.

UW isn't going anywhere. The only question is if we can beat the big boys.

Oregon has a long way to go and it won't happen under Cristobal.

These the facts. I had to accept them during the Duckade. The eyes don't lie.
I'm definitely LIPO. The guy's head coaching experience at Oregon is one bowl game that he had a week to prepare for without his best and only offensive weapon. Not making too many excuses for him there, because the team played like garbage. But I'm at least going to wait until week 3 or 4 before I decide if he's the guy or not. That's when I knew Helfrich was crap (home game against Tennessee)

I like this kid more than Trice but he is far from an elite talent right now. He does have the frame and length to grow into a good player much like Jelks.

He's bigger and faster than Trice, and he's got GREAT HIPS.

Our DT play is going to be great, but the defense is limited because of edge play. Our defense can be special if we could generate a pass rush

So you'll get push up the middle but no heat from the edge?

Latu is #1. Trice is #2. USC and UW will likely split the two.

Neither of those guys are better than Ma'ae. That's the point, you're pretending to not want the most physically impressive of three not great players.

Latu > Ma'ae but I agree Ma'ae is really good.

It's too bad UW won't be getting either.

UW and USC and I disagree.
