It's actually the opposite of lazy. UW puts in all the extra work looking into a kids background, finding out who he is as a person, how hard he works, what his teachers says about him, what other recruits or current players who know him say about him, etc. Those evaluations before offering take more time and effort and even after offering a kid they are still constantly evaluating him to see how hard he's working, whether or not he's getting better, whether or not he's become complacent, how he performs against better talent at camps, etc.greenblood said:The "we are only going to offer limited scholarships because we want our scholarships to mean something" may back fire on an epic level. I'm definitely LIPO. The guy's head coaching experience at Oregon is one bowl game that he had a week to prepare for without his best and only offensive weapon. Not making too many excuses for him there, because the team played like garbage. But I'm at least going to wait until week 3 or 4 before I decide if he's the guy or not.
