Joyner +7 (200)
Norgaard +14 (300)
Otton +5 (249)
Rapp -7 (200)
Tryon +5 (267)
Amandre +7 (241) -
Biggest changes:
Spiker +11 to 191.
Gordon +12 to 189
BiGBack Dick +12
Noregaard +14 to 300
Bain +21 to 321
Sossebee +21 to 327
Chin +7 171
Hunter bryant -22 lbs to 223 and changed to #1.
Adam's-15 to 316
Still massive:
Ale +1 to 362 -
Lowe switch from #81 to #12. Same number as fuller. Confirms the rumor I've been hearing around campus: Fuller plans on leading us to a natty then pop off.
-
Both Rapp and JoJo are 10-15 lbs lighter this year, I imagine by design.
-
I think Drew Sample shed 10lbs from last spring, down to 251 while Kizer is up to 264. The coaches may see Sample as more of a receiving WTE while Kizer will be the blocking WTE.
-
Otton came in at 220 to put on 30pounds wow. Kid worked really hard. WTEUinsinceredawg said:I think Drew Sample shed 10lbs from last spring, down to 251 while Kizer is up to 264. The coaches may see Sample as more of a receiving WTE while Kizer will be the blocking WTE.

After two years in the weight program Chin is 171 pounds and only heavier than a true freshman walk on white wide receiver and a 5’9 freshman place kicker. Fuck off Chin you lazy fuck.
Thank you for Chincredible though. -
Thanks for posting this Chris

I don't understand this. There's no way Lowe is already designated for a redshirt, especially with the new rules, so the coaches allowing two offensive players to have the same number is strange.PhDoog said:Lowe switch from #81 to #12. The new roster never fails to get me dooging about football season.

Somebody needs to intro Draco to the Bowman brothers and their workout/weight gain strategies
-
Ty Jones 6”4 210. Tevis 6”3 233. Dev Culp 6”3 232. Dear god.

Yore missing the real show

The height and weights of our secondary under classmen make me hard. Glad jojo and Taylor dropped weight.
Keith Taylor and Hampton at 6'2" 200
Julius Irvin at 6'1" 187 and kyler at 6' 189. It's hard. -
Chin has bigger (lulz) problems than his weight.Edwin_Bambino said:After two years in the weight program Chin is 171 pounds and only heavier than a true freshman walk on white wide receiver and a 5’9 freshman place kicker. Fuck off Chin you lazy fuck.

Who needs 23 and me when there is free visual data like this? Time to go ask grandma about my Congolese ancestry...Swaye said:

The D line has leaned out a bit. They gained the year after we played Bama in the semi-final and have now slimed down the year after seeming to run out of gas at times in the second half of some games last year (Stanford and ASU come to mind). I know, hard to keep wind when your offense sucks donkey balls on third down but the weight loss is all players across the board. Even roided out Bowman lost lbs. Wonder what Jimmy and Kwat have in mind this year. Benning at 277 and Tryon at 267 are creeping up on Bronson, Johnson and Levi who have all dipped under 290. Did they slim because they are not naturally able to hold 300lbs on their frames and maintain the level of fast twitch get off that they need for success or is it something I'm missing? Any ideas from the posters smarter than myself at dissecting defensive philosophy?

Center?

The ones that having me dooging my balls off:
Kyler Gordon, 6'0 189: He's filling out quicker than I expected. Already the same size as Budda was when Budda got drafted except two inches taller. Kind of an Earl Thomas body type. Love him.
Austin Joyner, 5'11 200: Solid 10 pound gain. Would not want to be tackled by this stocky fucker. Interested to see where he fits in the secondary this season. Please beat out Myles Bryant.
Dominique Hampton, 6'2 200: This surprised me. He still looks so lean in pictures. Could easily get up to 210 without losing a step. Might be the most talented corner we've ever had.
Josiah Bronson, 6'3 280
Levi Onwuzurike, 6'3 282
Jaylen Johnson, 6'3 286
Let the brothas do what they do best and play with speed. Going to be a much faster defensive front than previous seasons.
Jackson Kirkland, 6'7 315: This dude was a huge steal. I think he's the real deal and the future starter at RT. Love the way he's grinding and transforming his body. He's not putting on sloppy weight. He's losing fat and gaining muscle.
Henry Bainivalu, 6'5 321: Oh my god yezzzz. Seen him in recent pictures and he's a physical specimen. Very lean for that size. Please just be the starter at RG and make the O-line complete.
Cole Norgaard, 6'4 300: The 2017 O-line class is legit. This is a former TE and high school basketball player. Very athletic and now has the size to go with the athleticism with years to go in the weight room. He's going to push Harris for the starting job I guarantee it. He'll be an All-Conference Center for us at some point.
Jesse Sosebee, 6'5 327: Looks like Boomer decided to go all out for his Senior season and get on the juice with the Bowman brothers. That's fine. You're still not starting ever again but will be a solid back up for both Guard spots in case of injury.
Victor Curne, 6'3 319: I can't take it anymore. So much good looking young beef. This kid is still lean in his upper body with so much room to gain muscle. I can't imagine what he's going to look like after two years with Socha.
Tuli Letuligasenoa, 6'1 336
Taki Taimani, 6'2 318
It's nice to have NT depth again!
Joe Tryon, 6'5 267: He's a physical freak. Kwat needs to coach him up and get his ass on the field.
Rich Newton, 6'0 195: Pleasantly surprised with this one. He does not look like he's the same size as Ahmed. He'll probably grow into a 210-215 pound back which makes me like him more.
Trey Lowe, 5'8 184: This kid is thick. He's already bigger than mighty mouse Chico as a Freshman. Stop fucking around with this WR bullshit. His vision and elusiveness are amazing. If he can get up to 190 I say he's a RB. -
Like others, can't believe that Amandre Williams is up to 241. If he kept his initial burst and quickness, we might have hope.
-
Meh. This is just classic confirmation bias. It's telling because we want it to be telling. But these exact comments are made by poasters every single time there's a new roster released. Sometimes they're telling, sometimes they're not. Time will tell.GrundleStiltzkin said:Yore missing the real show

Flatbed trucks...

Loving the size of the dbs. Gordon is much bigger than I realized. Taylor is a guy that tends to be forgotten a bit but I think he's as promising as anyone.
We're* not impressive at running back or linebacker. Those are the only position groups where the roster doesn't stack up in terms of underwear Olympics. I think you need three really good backs to feel good and it's possible that Lowe is #3 so I'm encouraged there. Outside lb looks a bit better with Trying and potoae being monsters and Williams finally gaimimg some weight, but it's still thin. Inside LB just sucks in my mind, and will for a couple more years. -
Love how our freshmen/redshirtfrosh are as big if not bigger then some of our upperclassmen

I think MJ Tafisi will make you change your mind. I love the guy (I might be crazy but I liked him more than Kaho).chuck said:Inside LB just sucks in my mind, and will for a couple more years.
