I listened to Browning various interviews from media day. Quite honestly, Mitch, he was saying some of the right stuff. There was some self-awareness, some humility, and some defiance. All that being said, it means fuckall. Twerp until not.

I’m sure a lot of them would look at Washington if they were in the same situation I was (as a high school recruit), but when I committed there, it wasn’t like they were the next hot thing or a big deal. They were going through a little bit of a rough patch...

I can't remember which interview it was, but Browning said something like, "I know I don't look like classic UW QBs. I'm not 6-6 which a huge arm." Eligible or not, Browning be feeling Skinny lurking around.

The whole article is depressing, really.
Particularly depressing and infuriating is the whole "I'm never going to be the prototypical Husky QB physically" bullshit. I guess you are right in that if you (very publicly) disregard the nutritionist's advice for three full years, and don't take advantage of the awesome S&C program that has bred stud after stud after stud (note the article did NOT mention his newfound commitment to S&C), then yes, you certainly won't be the prototype. Congrats on finding nutrition religion the final offseason of your college career, and in fulfilling that self-fulfilling prophesy. -
