Steve Sarkisian loses $30 Million wrongful termination lawsuit against USC

USC argued that it tried to get help for Sark after an embarrassing booze-fueled rant at a Salute to Troy event in August 2015, but at the time Steve claimed he was NOT an alcoholic and attributed the behavior to a bad reaction from mixing Rx pills with beers.
USC had Sark sign a "last-chance agreement" requiring him to apologize for his behavior and attend weekly counseling sessions with substance abuse specialists. USC also warned Sark that any further incident that embarrassed the school would "constitute immediate termination for cause."
Sark signed the document, but USC says at the time he adamantly denied having a drinking problem.
Two months later, Sark had a drunken meltdown in the days after a loss to the University of Washington and was put on an indefinite leave on Oct 11. USC fired him on Oct. 12.

One of my last debates on Softy’s page before he booted me was with people who thought Sark should be immune from petty criticism, specifically football related, since he had his own demons.
People thought Sark should only be applauded for seeking help and not torn down for something as silly as college football in-game decision making.
He’s still a horror of a human being and only other alcoholics or addicts like Grinolds still worship the guy for what he did here -
Most people show up to work drunk (multiple times) and have complete breakdowns in front of their co workers. It’s just something that happens.

In all the years of bashing joeys waitresses this post just made me realize dated one years ago. Never even put two and two together. Bash sark all you want but joeys know how to serve subpar to avg food and make money.MisterEm said:

Quite honestly, it was a disappointment out there. The attorneys had a great week of practice but for whatever reason didn’t execute.
