How the fuck did Alice in Chains end up in the CBI?

Blatant snub from the Big Dance (ILTCITBD), declined the chinvitation to the NIT in protest.greenblood said:How the fuck did Alice in Chains end up in the CBI?

There will be an 80's - 90's indie/alt/punk NIT I'm thinking later this summer. They would obviously get a high seed in that one along with other 90's groups that didn't get into the 64 team BOTB.greenblood said:How the fuck did Alice in Chains end up in the CBI?

AIC got fucked hard in the big one and putting them into this shitty field would be an insult. Dirt is not only one of the greatest rock albums of all time, but also the best heavy metal, best death metal, best alt, best grunge...pretty much the best at any subcategory of rock you care to try fitting it into.
I vote for Tool in this thing. Just criwn them and shut it down now. -

The only acceptable response to why AIC is out would be because of a post season ban.

The backstory if you haven't heard it already is that I was trying to come up with 16 bands from the late 1980s to the present for than part of the bracket. Gave bids to Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, but adding in AiC (i.e., 4 of the 16 bands) felt like too much Seattle grunge scene. Then all hell broke loose which was surprising given that this is a college football message bored of a school located in Seattle.greenblood said:The only acceptable response to why AIC is out would be because of a post season ban.
