And we make fun of Eugene...

Seattle has gone off the rails. Completely. Easy target deserving a national mockery.greenblood said:And we make fun of Eugene...
Making of fun of Eugene is a bit more focused.

This looks like nearly as much funSledog said:A large truck with a snow plow would be the perfect vehicle for traveling the bike lanes.

I really, really expected this thread to be about taint-licking.
Failing that, I hoped it would be a story about a drunk, high Native American we all know and love chopping bicyclists into bits with a tomahawk. -
I hear @Swaye ate a leather bike seat once.

That park will be very popular with the homeless.RaceBannon said:But wait there is more
Now that Seattle can finally take down the viaduct and choke traffic for all time they want to ding the people on the waterfront for a 200 million dollar assessment to build a park -
Even my podunk little Burg is trying to ruin the literally 4 x 4 square block downtown that’s there by having a bike lane in one of the through routes. It’s been there for 2 years and there’s little impact as I’ve never seen ONE FUCKING BIKE ever. But it did take a lane of traffic away. And it fucks half the population up as they haven’t realized that they can just get in that lane and park normally. As opposed to locking it up In front of you and pulling into the pits like a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series machine.
@creepycoug is right. People in Salem are fucking stupid and I have to add that their aspirations are to achieve Portland stupid. -
In other words, someone at Fox found the most expensive project in the city - something that ran for FOUR BLOCKS - then calculated that if every project cost this much per city block then the total cost per mile would be that insane number. It's bullshit because there isn't a single mile of bike lane anywhere in Seattle that cost even close to $12 million to build. Nevermind the fact that it's the entire street being rebuilt, not just a bike path.
I'm sure Fox accidentally left out those details.
