You can’t say “our offer means something, not like all these other teams” when we fucking offer a kid from ATL that will never fucking come here. I’d guess 30 of our offers so far are completely pointless at this point.pat_hm said:

I really like the upside of Hall, I don't care if we offer him now but we should definitely be recruiting him. Do everything you can to get him up for camp this summer and see how he looks. He's very raw still but he has the size, strength, and speed you want. He could easily blow up his Senior year, better to get in on him early just in case.

I'm obviously not going to bet the farm on a kid from Atlanta coming to Washington. That said he is Samoan and made sure to put photos of Kikahi and Vita plus we're playing out opener out there makes me think there was some game plan. Maybe he has some west coast connections? A cousin out here? I dunno. Not many Samoans in the south...The fact is that no one here knows anything and it's all mostly conjecture. The BUCK recruiting has been incredibly frustrating...I do believe Petersen understands the value of pass rushers in our scheme and has a plan to address it. -

I sympathize with the coaches trying to recruit across the country while also trying to make a UW offer 'mean something'. You aren't going to get the attention of a kid from Texas if you don't offer him, so you kind of have to just to gauge their interest and try and get them to visit. Waiting so long to offer the obvious instate guys is still annoying though.
