Not sure how this match up will play out. Seems that it could be a close one.

I’m going with the Mac. Close call, though.

Queen had a lot of brilliant songs no doubt BUT they never had a complete album on par with, say, Rumors or Fleetwood Mac (1975). You can't get an album like Rumors without major sloppy seconds amongst band members.

Pretty much everything Nicks and Buckingham wrote was aimed at the other. Call it soft or sappy or whatever if you want. I used to brush them aside as soft, sentimental rock but they meant that shit and a lot of it hits pretty hard.

Plus they we're really good live and Buckingham was an underrated guitarist.

I used to be a Fleetwood Mac hater because of 1992 and "Don't Stop Believing". Then I got over myself and grew to love them. Steely Dan and Fleetwood Mac are two of the bigger course corrections in my rock listening.

Basically this. I am really into easy listening pop-rock. So, there’s that too.

    Buckingham is severely underrated

That being said Queen wins this rather easily

Two talented queens here but I'm sticking with the white witch. Too many dicks and not enough pussies are moving on to the next rounds.

Going to be hard from Fleetwood Mac to come back from down 9 votes, with 37 votes in. Queen into the Sweet 16 and a tough match up with Van Halen. Looking increasingly likely that AC DC is into the final 4 rather easily.

Queen > Van Halen but that's a good matchup

This one really blows me away. Queen has like 2 or 3 songs that I can stand. I had no idea they we're still so well liked. I hear their name and think of bicycle and you're my best friend, neither of whuch are listenable to any man still in possession of his balls.
