#5 The Beach BoysAnother hard matchup for me in the 1960's. Cuntry-rock and roots-rock are my 2 favorite classic rock genres. The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down is some of the best history nerd lyrics in rock. Still...The Beach Boys are the greatest group of try hard, American, suburban whites of all time. I mean they sucked at playing, but boy could they sing.
