The only Beach Boys that matter are 1962- 66. After that they collapsed into Brian Wilson's love of milkshakes and weed.
Ergo, fuck the Beach Boys.
Whatever talent they once had has long been obscured by eternal appearances at the Puyallup Fair.
If you made Pet Sounds you win. If you aren't smart enough to go figure out what Pet Sounds is... jump off a cliff.
Touch choice again.

IMO, tilt goes to the Beach Boys. Besides, this song reminds me of Julie Christie in Shampoo.
Jesus.
Put the Band's 2-5 songs up and let's see how this goes.
Nearly every song of their first 2 records is great. Have listened to Chest Fever for Christ sake's? Garth Hudson was doing prog organ intros way before ELP and Yes. They did a kick ass version of Long Black Veil BEFORE Johnny Cash.
Debatable as too whether these are their best 2-5 songs, but I'm not getting the hate. I voted Beach Boys, but The Band is good chit to listen too when you're chilling.
