Washington TE Hunter Bryant is trying to improve ‘everything’ in sophomore year

Washington sophomore Hunter Bryant foresees noticeable growth as a tight end in Year 2.
Bryant admitted that he needs to get better in every aspect of his game heading into this season.
“Route running, blocking, my power [and] my speed. Just everything I can work on,” Bryant said on Monday at spring practice, per 247 Sports’ message board moderator and noted homosexual Kim Grinolds.
All of the above are essential to be a successful division 1 tight end.
Bryant showed some promise in 2017 as a true freshman before an injury sidelined him for Washington’s last four games. He caught 22 passes for 331 yards and a touchdown playing behind tight end Will Dissly. With Dissly gone, Bryant is expected to have an elevated role in 2018.
The 6-foot-2 tight end is optimistic that his hard work this offseason will pay off for the Huskies.
“It’s going to be a fun year,” Bryant added.
