Warning: Serious football talk. LIke this post. To me its a no brainer, its the 78 Rosebowl, the first Bowl game I watched on TV as a yungstah. The 92 Rosebowl was kinda anti-climatic. Remember watching the 78 on our little B&W TV cuz we were poor rednecks at our little farm house on a crisp winter day. I was too young to know the history, but old enough to understand how huge it was...great memory.

I was fortunate enough to attend the '92 Rose Bowl and it was the single greatest day of my life as a Husky fan. I was eleven years old and remember it vividly: Napolean Kaufman almost taking it to the house, as a true FR, on the opening kickoff, Steve Emtman playing through the flu, Shane Pahukoa making Desmond Howard his beeatch, Mark Bruener's tiptoeing TD in the back of the end zone (also as a true FR), Mario Bailey's mocking Heisman pose in end zone for the long TD... absolute and total domination from start to finish. It was a magical atmosphere that day/night in Pasadena and I doubt I'll ever experience something like that again.

Now Bailey would get an unsportsmanlike penalty with possible ejection. And you're right, you won't experience that ever again...unless you become a fan of another team.
