On air a little over an hour ago, you said Chris Petersen used some interesting recruiting tactics that if known, would get him in a lot of trouble. Is UW dirty? Please do tell!@975Hans

Hans Olsen dropped this little nugget out of no where. I was listening to Hans and some other guy talk about some baseball coach in Texas that got fired because he emailed a recruit from Colorado and said something like - we will not be offering you a scholarship because we will not take a recruit from Colorado. You can thank you liberal state politicians.
So the radio guys go on and talk about how coaches recruit and this coach is simply not going to deal with a kid that may possibly smoke marijuana. And this is where Hans drops his Chris Petersen statement.
It kind of pissed me off, even though I hate you fuckers. Like it or not, our programs are very similar. I'd be pissed if some Prius driving Seattle cunt popped of on air about Whittingham being shady. I'd be pissed because it's not true.
I'll see if he responds to the tweet. Fuck, I'm not even sure I did it right. It's like the 3rd or 4th time I've ever tweeted.

CP is a no-nonsense recruiter. The only shady thing that ever surfaced in Boise or in his short time in UW is that he tells kids to take a hike if they shop too much. If someone wants to take that as shady, then GTFO. There is a reason his signing days are "boring" and his kids are ready to work when they get here.

Rumor has it, he pissed off an adult who goes by the name, “Joey.” Evidently “Joey” disapproves of his recruiting practices and is bad mouthing UW to a couple potential Special Teams All Stars that would never get the grades to get into UW.

When I say we are similar, which is something I have said at least a few times on this site, I'm not saying equal. We are similar in how we are building. We are building from different places. We are building from being in the WAC/MWC to being a competitive Pac-12 team. You're building for a national championship. Our coaches are similar, and player types are similar. Ours are 3 stars, yours are 4. Aside from the initial raw talent gap, both programs recruit the exact same type of guy. Coach-able, truly want's and tries to get a degree and does not cut corners. In our case, 100% of our players earn a degree. For some of these fuckers it's a huge accomplishment considering they can barely read and write when they enter.
Petersen would no more take a 5 star I-deserve-to-be-paid entitled cunt than Whitt. -
