Is Chris Petersen still our coach?

If so, we will never have a 'good' OC. Smitty was awful, but it doesn't matter who is president of Somalia, Somalia is always going to suck because it's located in Somalia.

If you change that fact, Somalia will have a good shot at things.

Same with our offense. If Chris Petersen is anywhere near our offense it will always be overcomplicated bullshit.

Maybe one year we will get lucky in the 3 fucking games we need the offense to function and the stars will align, but I don't see it happening.

Our offense has been trash since Pete has been here and it will be trash as long as he's here unless he completely divests himself.

Pete/Smitty offenses at UW by PPG:
    2014 - 30.2
    2015 - 30.6
    2016 - 41.8
    2017 - 36.2

Pretty hard to call that "trash" especially when the QB play has been subpar.

Hamdan is going to have more weapons, a more stable O line, and more options at QB. He'd have to really fuck up as a play caller to have the offense regress in any way.

Someone bump this when we all start hating his guts. The growing pains going to be amazing

If he is going to be elite, he will be from day one. Genius/excellence shines through no matter how inexperienced you are (See Kelly, Chip). If he struggles early, after getting his feet wet, we may be looking for at best JSmiff 2.0 at worst Doug Nussmeier. Either way it will be interesting, which is infinitely preferable to our previous status quo of just frustratingly predictable. All that said, Jake Browning sucks and I hear the Auburn game might just be big. Really BIG.
