Transition from late stage socialism to totalitarian communism is speshul.

To Michael "I'm not too fat" Moore and Sean Penn this is the kind of government that we need here. I hope they are successful in their endeavors. Oops if they are would that be collusion?

I hear that crypto-currency is going to save them...

Nothing says desperation like relying on "Bitcoin's" illegitimate baby brother to pull you out of economic collapse.

This is the kind of thing that would never happen in Sweden.

Mark Weisbrot is codirector of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington and president of Just Foreign Policy.

    Fair point.

    But still, fuck them.

The more socialist Seattle becomes, the more third-world conditions we see on our streets, parks and greenbelts. Same-old, same-old of Capitalism-hating lefties who fail to grasp that it's the EFFICIENT USE of capital that resolves these problems and fuels the marketplace, and not the IDEOLOGICAL DEPLOYMENT of capital to those most-deserving of it, or whatever fairness or equity rationale the clowns in power choose to invoke.

Same shit we've seen over and over, and the same dead end for those who turn away from the fundamentals of the marketplace. Yet ideological idiots still shill for Socialism as the ultimate answer to all of society's ills.

Christ. What more do you have to see than this? That's where it always goes.

Even countries like Sweden have adopted a more market friendly environment after their job rates and average wages sputtered.

You suggesting the whole paper isn't one big op-ed?

Need a safe space? Foxnews will make you feel better buttercup. All of this nasty “news” and “opinion”is no place for a sensitive person like you.

You sound like you watch a lot of Fox news, lol.

Quite literally, I never turn it on, or none of the other polititainment channels for that matter

I do watch Fox News. I think their polling unit is one of the best. If what the polls says matters to anyone, I will gladly acknowledge a Fox News poll.

I get the LA Times and The Economist delivered in hard copy. On-line, I subscribe to NRO, Washington post, ny times and WSJ. I am news service superiority guy.

I also have my biases: I think trump administration policy advocacy is one million times worse than than the combined tripe of any Bush, Clinton, Obama omnibus proposal you could ever compile. Trade, budget, immigration, health care, infrastructure, micro economics, macro economics...

This nativist, nationalist, protectionist bullshit decreases us all to our lowest common denominator. Dare I say WTGWT?

I am willing to let mueller and history be my guide.

It's so funny when actual bona-fide snowflakes retort with "I know you are but what am I" like Cirrho does here. I can't remember the DSM label for this pathology, but it's abbreviation is "Faggotry."

I didn't need to read the article because I know it will tell me what I've already known for a long time: socialism is for fuckstick retards and always ends in failure and a rabbit holocaust when food starts to get scarce.

I believe the topic was the NYTs and Venezuela...I didn't say anything about Fox News. Nice to see you have the attention span of a 2 year old...
