An older sage fellow told me back in the 90s that he felt for me as a white male.I asked why he thought this. He said you will be ridiculed and scapegoated for the sins of America’s cultural past. He said the next generations of white males would be akin to an endangered species. I thought it was interesting at the time but gave no credence to it. But he was onto something. He could see the divisions between class, race and gender that were to come 25 years before it kicked into high gear. I don’t say this as a woe is me white man. But just interesting as as to how he knew it was coming.
