Bailey Stober, a spokesman for the assessor, said Tuesday the 2018 boost is “the largest property-tax increase in King County in modern history.”
Golly, with tax increases *this* high, it’s really too bad they won’t be deductible.

The hills of Olympia will run red with democratic blood in the next several elections. Yes, the property tax increases were forthcoming due to the McCleary decision. But the dumbass fucking dems decided to pile on the consumption, carbon and gas taxes BEFORE the property tax increase. Welcome to a 30% COLA in 1 year, thanks to our beloved liberal dems of WA State.

For Seattle folks, what's the yearly property tax on an average home (roughly)? Say you have a 600K house in West Seattle, what's the yearly bill for that, or any examples any of you have.

Here's that whole states rights argument. Purple didn't care as much about state taxes as they wrote all of it off on their federal taxes. That's gonna change!

Which is bullshit that equates to taxing a tax. Kinda the thing we took the Country over in the first place for.Sledog said:Here's that whole states rights argument. Purple didn't care as much about state taxes as they wrote all of it off on their federal taxes. That's gonna change!
