That's the thing, their talent sucks this year. W/O Dorsey and Brooks. Pritchard and Brown are their only guys.
Yeah this year's Duck team is not playing Altman ball a lot of the time. They don't box out well, slow to rotate on d, and give up too many easy pts inside. However, UW will be coming off a huge emotional win, going on the road, and teams tend to come out flat in those situations. If Oregon gets E. Brown going from 3 early that will stress the 2-3. Key will be if McIntosh and Wooten can hit the elbow j, similar to what Ristic was doing

UW has the national hype train behind them at the moment as well. Don't understate how much that means.

If they were flying under the radar itd already be over

In all the years I can remember there has been one UW had some sort national hype, which resulted in a #1 seed, and a loss to ville' in the sweet 16. Nobody is paying attention to games in a weak conference played at 11pm eastern on a Sat. It's just reality.

...some of you hoops guys tell us what it takes to go dancing. @Spirithorse has already called it, so I know it's happening, but how many do we need to win to be in for sure? Any losses that would really kill us?

I'd agree getting to at least 22 wins will make it much more plausible. The "20" win bubble burst long ago, especially with more focus on math, conference ratings. The TL;DR version is that it's still too soon for any teams to feel comfortable. UW is in a better swingspot than a few squads out there we're bubble bursting with.

Marquette - Just lost their 4th straight
Florida lost 2 more this past week
V-Tech - Just lost to Miami and has 2 vs duke, 1 vs UVA, Clemson, ville
NC State, Providence and Texas A/M, Boise State - Looks pretty good right now

    Conference problems
USC has road swing to UA and ASU. If they lose both, USC easily drops out of contention and is on the bubble.
ASU has a huge matchup with USC, UCLA, Zona, @Ore ASU could easily find itself on the outside looking in after that stretch.

"IF" UW keeps winning they could possibly sneak into the top 25. I don't see anymore than 2 Pac12 teams finished ranked in the top 25 with all the late season matchups. UW really needs ASU and UofA to pretty much run the table outside of the game vs each other, and I'd prefer ASU wins that game. 5-3 is the bare minimum + Tourney to feel remotely comfortable. The schedule is there for us to do it. Where we run into shit is that this team doesn't blow anyone out, so the games will be close. Conversely I know we'll be in every-game too.

I like what i'm seeing out of this team. I think they finish 6-2. The atmosphere at hecEd is going to be insanity at least in both the UTah/Buff games. UW still winning I wouldn't want to be either OSU or UofHO to finish things out. 4-0 @home and split on the road trips.

Sneak in with a 12 seed.

Too bad the kid self-immolated. Wooten was a fucking destroyer on the defensive end tonight
