Sacramento is doing really well these days. I always look forward to visiting; redeveloped J Street, the mall anchored with the new Kings’ Arena, and midtown is booming. I lived there from 91-96 after USC grad school doing financial consulting (the State was a big client). You and I would agree it was a dump back then. Anyways, Sacramento, of all places, does not want to split up California. Move to Susanville and you may feel better.
