In all seriousness, I agree with @PurpleThrobber, sex toys, robots, developing a goddamn holodeck, etc. isn’t going to replace, um, the humans from “interacting”.
One thing I’m always chintrigued about in these discussions is that the developments in gene therapy, targeted medicine, 3-D printing paired with plastic surgery aren’t getting the same amount of press. It may not be long before humans can literally transform themselves into the ideal mate. Think the world of the movie “Gattaca”, but on stereroids. -
