Why is the City of Seattle paying $150K on behalf of their deposed boy-diddling mayor for a crime he allegedly committed decades before he was Mayor?
Even then - why would the city be paying damages for a criminal act by an employee/elected official? Maybe if it happened in the mayor's office itself? Not even beginning to comprehend why this is a taxpayer funded payoff.
Other than liberal guilt, I can't fathom why that is on the public dole.

The city and its idiot voters should be liable for acts he committed while in office.

I think it is because the mayor was a pasty white guy and the law suit guy is black. they don't want bad press for a progressive city.
