The late 2000s/early 2010s Batman movies were great. I haven't seen anything else besides Batman vs. Superman and a Hulk movie about 10 years ago. I've heard the comic book movies are going full SJW, so no thanks.

I think because the universes are set so differently they need to be ranked individually. I tend to enjoy the darker feel of the DCEU more, but they're shit. Marvel goes for campy and makes it work. So I'll rank them separately.

I much prefer the darker side of the comic book genre. Logan was really good. I actually liked Spawn from the late 90s, but admittedly haven't watched it in awhile and imagine the graphics are pretty outdated and cheesy.
I hate the the marvel ensemble shit and spinoffs. It's such a money grab and I can't keep the story timelines straight. Nobody ever dies in Marvel, they always pull it out, or if they do die they somehow come back.
I like high stakes and finality.

The Batman from 1989 was good. Nicholson, Michael Keaton, Michelle Pheiffer, Prince on the soundtrack (which was not his best work, but still)
I watched an old Chris Reeves Superman from the 70s or early 80s about a year ago. Meh. Two stars. Gene Hackman was a good Lex Luther. -
