Pac12 Networks Signing Day Special

Therefore, THE Pac12 Networks determined they really didn't need to do anything but show some old Final Four games that involved teams that weren't in the Pac12 at the time they played in the Final Four. Makes perfect sense to Larry Scott and his innovative network, of course.

(Wilner) "...(signing day flips and wins)...Of course, you would not have known any of that based on the Pac-12 Networks’ coverage of signing day.
Make that: Based on the Pac-12 Networks’ confounding, inexplicable, lack of coverage of signing day.
There were plenty of replays of football and basketball games on the conference’s network Wednesday morning and afternoon.
There was even a replay of a 1998 Final Four game matching teams that weren’t members of the conference in 1998.
But football recruiting? Not a mention.
No interviews, no news flashes, no end-of-the-day recaps and breakdowns."

This tells me that they didn't think the production cost was worth the number of viewers they get, so they defaulted to popping in old game tape. That's a huge problem. It means that the P12 Network's distribution is both shit, and the P12 doesn't think that the conference's fans are dedicated enough to give a shit about tuning in for recruiting news.
Or maybe they really are just so stupid that they didn't realize December 20th was the more significant LOI day. Considering they've always had wall-to-wall coverage of signing day in the past, there's a pretty good chance that this is the case.
At the end of the day, our brand fucking sucks and we're a second-rate conference. -
The PAC12 Network folks are not misers. They dump money in producing all sorts of stupid shit shows about Olympic sports etc.GreenRiverGatorz said:This tells me that they didn't think the production cost was worth the number of viewers they get, so they defaulted to popping in old game tape. They are simply asleep at the wheel. -
Fundamentally Larry Scott does not understand that football pays the bills and everything else owes its existence as a non-club team to football (basketball somewhat excepted)dougthedawg said:

In defense of Larry Scott, this is the way the Pac12FS presodents want it. Scott is an abomination, but he's exactly what the head SJWs in charge want in a commissioner.Mad_Son said:
