Willie might have gotten himself into quite a pickle. In the Pac 12 you can be an average coach and win with 4 and 5 star talent. Down south most schools have 4 and 5 star talent so you need to actually be an above average coach to win. Now with a recruiting class that might be under 15 by February, slick Willie won't even have the talent coming in to offset is average coaching.
I always thought Willie was just average as a coach but an A+ recruiter. If he isn't a better recruiter than what Jimbo was, Florida state is in some trouble for the next few years.
Keep in mind though, that Willie has a strong chance of stealing Bolden, Thompson, and Lamar away after they decommitted from Oregon. That would at least salvage a decent class for Willie -
