I know that the task of rebuilding after TW and 0-12 was going to be difficult.
I also think that the task was made more difficult by hiring an unproven,
inexperienced young coach when we needed a mature experienced leader at the helm.
I believe the job of rebuilding has also been made more difficult by hiring an unproven, inexperienced athletic director.
I also don't think rebuilding is so difficult that we should still be mired in mediocrity after five years.
You, and your supporters, seem to think that rebuilding the program is some monumental task never accomplished in human history. You seem to think that somehow Sark and Woody are on some sort of "Mission Impossible". I disagree. Washington, and it's fans, deserve better.
I know the new ranking haven't come out yet but based on Nov 24, Week 14, of Year 5, of Sark's tenure can you explain to me why of the four polls listed: BCS, AP, USA, and ESPN Power Rankings, Washington isn't even ranked in the top 25 of ANY of these polls?
With the right coach I think we can do better, a lot better.
If that makes me a "psycho", so be it.
Some say that doing the same dysfunctional thing over and over while expecting a different result is one definition of insanity. You've been supporting Sark for five years while he continues to produce the same mediocre results.
