We? Aren’t exactly a big draw east of the Mississippi. Outside of the win against an unmotivated Florida squad back in 89, UW and the PAC have sucked against the SEC. I’ll head east for playoff game. A shit consolation bowel? Nope.

Tom warned us of all this. It's worse than he thought it would be though

The west coast has shitty fans. Cal has scheduled Tennessee and Ole Miss. Oregon scheduled Miss State, Tennessee, LSU, and Georgia. Georgia backed out and payed Oregon the money which I'm pretty sure was Richt trying to not get fired. For the most part the Pac-12 dominated those matchups.

USC went to Auburn under Pete when Auburn was #1 and never let them past mid field.

Utah beat the breaks off of Bama in a BCS bowl.

Hype makes things seem better. Outside of Bama there are no sure fire SEC programs. All of them have holes just like every other conference. The SEC and southern ACC has much better access to black lineman which do make a difference.

The money and fans are obviously outside of Pac-12 country. The only way this changes is if fans west of the Rockies get a lot more fanatical. Of course we all know the real outcome will be less and less people out west will follow college football. Giving up and moving on to something else is what west coast people do. That's literally what the Oregon Trail was.

I remember Kal curb stomping Georgia Tech or Clemson or someone in the Citrus Bowl once as a kid, but then all the Florida bowls made agreements with SEC and Big 10 schools about two years later and we've been screwed since.

A really good commissioner could at least snag a tie-in with the Citrus or Gaytor Bowl, but we don't have a good commissioner and there's no end in site to that trend. They'll keep taking 8-4 Mississippi State versus 8-4 Iowa.

    SEC 72-42

    40-14 between 1970-1999.

Take Tennessee out of the equation and the numbers are far worse.

Outside of Oregon in the early 2010s, and the mid 2000s SC juggernaught, the PAC has taken it on the chin.

28-32 since 1999 is not even but pretty close, right? Maybe my math is wrong.
