all that being said ending Net Neutrality sucks -
Didn't Net Neutrality go into effect in 2015? It really doesn't feel like the quality of my internet has gone up since then...if anything it's gone down.
-
Another example where if it was so important, it should have been legislated rather than through agency rules.

There has been defacto net neutrality for the past couple decades, but a Verizon lawsuit in 2015 ended it temporarily. The FCC made it law soon after. New chairman is going to throw it out, allowing ISPs to do whatever they want, basically for the first time.Fenderbender123 said:Didn't Net Neutrality go into effect in 2015? Somehow this has turned partisan when net neutrality should be universally accepted. It's like allowing utilities to charge you more for using electricity in Whirlpool appliances, while charging less for GE because they signed an exclusive contract.
Gotta look out for little old Comcast! -

This has been a foregone conclusion for a while, most of them jumped last November. Do you always advise to buy high?doogie said:You should load up on options in the companies bound to capitalize on the free money grab.

Sounds like experts agree it's going much higher.
You sound like you think you should be selling. -
But AZ in his typical struggle mode this weak dug it up again.UWhuskytskeet said:

There are a lot of diverse opinions on it out there, including this one. Wu's comment should scare everyone.

You're making the assumption that 70 year olds(sorry Race) in Congress have any grasp on issues that deal with technology. A good portion of these idiots don't even use computers so they're definitely not going to put together coherent legislation on net neutrality.GrundleStiltzkin said:Another example where if it was so important, it should have been legislated rather than through agency rules.

Not edumarcated enough on this particular subject, but so far from what I've read, I'm siding with the bored's socialists/commies on this one until I get more up to speed.

But really, great comeback. We need more of this incisive discussion -
You're assuming congress people have a clue about anything. Their millennial staff will read itToddTurnerLIVES said:

President Obama could have had his staff craft the bill and present it to help all those old folks out.

Could have sworn I just read a great poast from ToddTurnerLives about how net neutrality works using electrical companies as an example and it went poof...

Hi, Congress wouldn't have passed the Bible if Obummer proposed it. You know that.
Besides, free market types are supposed to be against monopolies. especially those assisted by government action. No? -
