Jesus Jake is no Marques Tui but you guys need to look at the O line for THIS game. Couldnt run the ball and couldnt protect the qb. Add in shit receivers not getting open except for a few plays that you fucking lemming gulp like jizz because esp fucking n highlights is hilarious. The qb was running for his life. Just because the cameras showed them open from mid field doesnt mean they were open to the qb.

Jake generally has a massive problem just ripping it ... he had a couple of pretty easy TDs if he made the throws ...
Also generally obvious that he doesn’t trust a lot of the receivers ... Ty Jones at the top of the list -
when you hold the ball for 5 seconds and then scramble because someone finally got through that isn't "running for your life"
Jake's last 5 minutes were amazing and something I hope he can build on. But let's be real, at the game myself it was one of the worst QB performances I had ever seen before then. -
I can't quite remember but in the second half on third down pushing for a score Jake goes back to pass, has a clean pocket for five seconds, maybe more, and throws a ball into the end zone at the turf in front of a wide open Pettis. I think Vivisection missed the field goal after that and Downey rolls his eyes and buries his head. What a fucker. Did Veracruz drop his head and roll his eyes when BS shit his pants a few seconds before? I doubt it. Shitty body language, bad decision making and high pressure paralysis. Watching Jake make reads is like listening to Babushka speak in public. Awkward. Painful. Cringeworthy. We are a win away from ten and NOGAF how you got there on paper in two or three years. Just do it. Being a spoiler sucks. Just means you didn't take care of business but beating the Coog regardless is always fun. RUN THE BALL and take the trash out on Saturday!

He missed so many wide open receivers that I thought my fucking head would explode. His TD pass to Gaskin was a pick-6 looking for a place to happen, and Gaskin just did a great job of bailing out his QB. At least someone - SMIFF, you fucktard - remembered that Gaskin can catch the fucking ball and decided to throw to him last night. They should have doing that shit all season long. It would have helped us win some games, and showcased Gaskin's excellent hands.
If Jaek was a Soph, that would have been a GOOD game. But he is a Jr, and by now he should be finding the open receiver based on the defensive formation and motion - not looking up, seeing his primary receiver covered, and then panicking and running rather than checking down and throwing a pass as he gets hit to the guy that's wide fucking open.
Of course, SMIFF is not helping him, either. He just doesn't seem capable of understanding his QB's and team's strengths and playing to them. He did seem to figure out that we have a capable pass-catching RB and TE and called plays to get them the ball, this time. Way to be on top of it! But he always has to pull some unnecessary and ridiculous bullshit out of his hat - apparently thinking you score 9 points if you get a TD on some trick fucking play.
And now we play spoiler against the Coogs. Holy fucking shit - it's like we're back to the Ty Willy days. 2 fucking losses and spoiler to the Coogs when we should be unbeaten. Fuck-o-dear.
